About the event
Presenting a Workshop everyone can learn to have their own kitchen garden without any space constraint.
Hydroponics is non-conventional method of Gardening/Cultivation that does not use Soil to grow plants. Instead it makes use of water to grow plants.
Who should attend? Beginner who are interested in growing edible plants in their home.
Do your part for the environment! Participants are encouraged to bring bags to carry their Hydroponics starter kit home after the class.
Participants will learn:
- The basics & principles of growing herbs using Hydroponics in their home.
- Moving plants from soil to hydroponics system
- Setting up their mini hydroponic kit and maintenance
- Seeds germination and seedlings transplanting
- Plant nutrients requirements
- Testing for pH level
Farm Tour:
- Guided farm tour to a commercial hydroponic farm

The Hydroponics Starter Kit provided for the course consists of:
1. Hydroponic grow box with 6 holes
2. Air pump
3. One hose with air stone
4. A water level gauge
5. A pincer
6. Planting media
7. Nutrients (A/B solution)
8. Vegetable seedlings and cuttings of your choice
