COME JOIN US THIS MARCH HOLIDAYS FOR A FUN & EXCITING WORKSHOP!
Time & Location

About the event
Do you know that a seemingly lifeless soil you step beneath your feet could contain all the number of
individual organisms that is greater than the human population on earth? What looks “dead” is very
much full of life and vibrancy!
Join us on a microscopic journey as we travel deep down into the world of the living soil! We will visit
many different small hidden creatures in their humble abode and understand the roles they play. You, a
young scientist will gain insight to the science behind what makes a healthy living soil.
Students will investigate living soil biology. They will take soil samples and assess microbial population to monitor soil health and determine the role of soil in food production. Students will learn how to identify soil micro-invertebrates and other free living organisms.
