Who should attend:
- Those who are pursuing a career in urban farming
- Those who are already working in a nursery or farm as assistants or farm helpers
Time: 9.30 am to 5.30 pm.

Hand-On session: Farm tour & Hydroponics starter kit setting up
Location : 40 Neo Tiew Road (719027) - Shuttle bus provided to farm and return to Kranji MRT
Fees: $300 SkillsFuture Credit Eligible (submit your SkillsFuture Credit claim to pay for the course)
SkillsFuture Credit aims to encourage individuals to take ownership of their skills development and lifelong learning.
All Singaporeans aged 25 and above will receive an opening credit of S$500 from January 2016.
Your credit will not expire and the government will provide periodic top-ups, so you may accumulate your credit.
Please Note:
The Hydroponics Starter Kit provided for the course consists of:
1. Hydroponic grow box with 6 holes
2. Air pump
3. One hose with air stone
4. A water level gauge
5. A pincer
6. Planting media
7. Nutrients (A/B solution)
8. A pack of vegetable seeds
There is a short MCQ assessment to ensure that the basic knowledge taught during the class is well received
A Certificate of Achievement will be issued to participants who successfully completed the course.
Participants are to bring bags to carry their Hydroponics starter kit home after the class.
Participants to wear covered shoes and preferably in pants
Lunch and 2 tea breaks is provided
